I thought the 2d mode values were too low.
This problem doesn't appear using Linux drivers or Windows default ones.Īt first, when I bought the GPU, I thought the problem was related to the fast constant switching between the two power states of the GPU memory (between 2d and 3d mode) and their different values, from 150 to 1500. I've isolated the problem on my GPU with the AMD Windows drivers. My desktop PC keeps hard-freezing apparently randomly and I'm always forced to reboot it.
You can find links to the driver information and where to update the drivers in the section after the code box:ĪSACPI.sys Thu Nov 1 21:54:34 2012 (509327DA)

Low free space can cause BSOD's - but the actual amount depends on the files being used by the system.īoth of the memory dumps point to video. Please free up 15% on ALL hard drives (you can get away with 10% on larger drives and won't notice a large performance penalty). Windows likes 15% free space in order to perform stuff "behind the scenes" without adversely affecting the system's performance. Most build 10586 (TH2/1511) systems have more than this.
